You see I have this friend. I put him on a strict no- compliment rule but clearly, he broke it! So here is what I like to call pay back. Maybe the best kind of payback there is. Thomas and I developed a friendship somewhere between our shared love of breaking bad (I even bought him a T-shirt [which i never see him wear]) and drunken nights at Sig Ep bonding over who knows what. Regardless of what it was that triggered it, never would I have thought I would meet such a genuine and true friend as Thomas Whitworth, and never have I been so grateful.
This friend thinks that he learns a whole lot from me, but aren't friendships a two way street? What he does not realize is that he is a GENIUS! Never have I met anyone more "whitty." My witty kitty. He is the most clever person I know and I feel as if I can listen to him string together pun after joke, but it doesn't stop at humor. Thomas looks at the world through lenses only a few of us are able to have. he is able to recognize beauty more so than anyone I know. He can look a situation one may normally oversee and genuinely analyze it for something more and deeper, something my oblivious self would ride off as "happy" or "normal." But not Thomas, he has the eye for recognition of meaning and really helps me think to understand the world in ways I would never have thought to before.

On to my favorite part- the best and most caring friend you will ever have. Hands down. I've had my fair share of friends but never have I had someone treat me like Thomas. He knows me inside and out and somehow loves me, even though I think I am insane. That's ok though we can be insane together. Anyways, Thomas radiates loves. He thinks he is hardened whatever blah blah not buying it, you have a heart of gold my friend. About this business of you being lucky to find someone, some lady out there will be lucky to find YOU! With you as a companion, the world will be rid of lonley-ness and any dark emotion. You have the capability to make someone feel so genuinely cared about it is impossible not to reciprocate this love. I can come to you with my highest up's and my lowest down's and know that you will stay by my side, and I can only hope (or else I'll be mad) that you KNOW I will always be here to be that same support beam. On my ship I don't care if it is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 am pm what ever I am only an e-mail away and fully intend to have you take advantage of that.

Alright though here is what I need. You need to stay that ball of sunshine I know you can be! I know it will be easy to get caught up in life's adversities. Drama, girls, friends, fraternity stuff, whatever- but if you follow through with your empty threats you make about my absence I will legitimately kill you. What I was originally drawn to about you was that you weren't a "typical" guy, i.e you weren't prancing around trying to look like a nonchalant fool in an attempt to impress the ladies. What you see is what you get with you. And what you see is pretty great. You are incredibly fun and the talks I have with you keep me going when the going get's tough. You are my ultimate back bone and a rare breed of gentleman that respects people for who they are and do not care about how you should be perceived. You keep me grounded and to remember that this time is not all about the stereotypical expectations but a growing process, one in which I am so fortunate to experience with you. I am so excited to finish out my college career with you by my side and just so lucky and thankful to someone upstairs I was able to meet you. You are the best formal date I've never had and will never have. I love you MORE my Thomenos!!!!

Aww. I'm glad you posted this. You two are so cute! Best of luck in your lives. I'm glad I got to be in class with you. And I always enjoyed seeing Thomas on my way to the Field House. He always had a smile for me when most classmates from other classes would just ignore me. It's nice to be nice.:)
