Eat.Pray.Love

Okay so i watched for the millionth time the movie, Eat Pray Love.  For those of you who don't know what the movie is about, google it or watch the trailer on youtube.  I know that it sounds kind of cliche and dumb, but i think that traveling for a year and taking a break from life to "find yourself" and to come to peace with yourself and the situations around is actually not a bad idea.  As long as you're not expecting anything that is.  Let life come to you.

Eat Pray Love is a movie about a woman who has lost all excitement and thirst for life.  She embarks on a journey to Italy (eat), India (pray), and Bali (love).  She took a year off from her crazy life in New York and just took a chance.  Most movies i watch are just "movies" and i can't see it happening in real life since it's all so romanticized.  But this movie is actually a true story.  The whole movie is a true story from the girl that wrote the book, Liz Gilbert.

After watching this movie, i honestly want to travel myself.  I always have, but this movie gives me courage in a way.  While i'm young and have nothing holding me back, i should.  But then i think, thats the thing, i'm young.. it's not like i was married and went through a crazy divorce like the girl in the movie.  Thus i'm left with the thirst to marvel at something and travel, but the mindset to plan every step of it.  I guess we'll see how my life plays out, but for now i'll just continue going to the U like the good little daughter i seem to my parents.
